Not in control of your healthcare data?
Think again. Take control.
Every time you post something, or “like” something, or engage with any digital platform, you - and all of us - work on behalf of large data companies - for free. We don't share in any of the massive financial benefits from our work.
In essence, we are “data slaves,” generating value for the “data overlords” who own these platforms.
You need a copy of your healthcare data that you own as your personal asset.
It’s hard to access, let alone own our data. A copy of our healthcare records is important when something goes wrong, and as marketable data, it’s financially valuable. No matter how smart, successful, wealthy, or connected you are, you likely don’t own a full copy of your health record.
But you should…
How can a doctor help you reach the best health outcome with incomplete information about your health??
They can’t. Frustration, anxiety, and compromised health outcomes are often the result. The fact that others are profiting from your data rather than yourself compounds the inequity of the situation.
The Sovereignty Network can solve this problem for you
Gain peace of mind, securely share it when you need to, and profit from its value.
If you choose to license parts of your data to researchers, or to participate in surveys or trials, you can now get paid for this. You can even donate your data to organisations you support. It’s up to you.
There are no ads and we don’t sell or market your data. You choose what to do with it.
How does TSN afford to do this? We reserve 20% of the value generated, while our members get 80%
- You own your own personal data and only share it with people you specifically choose to.
- No one else has access to your personal data. You are in charge.
- Data coaches who help and support you are vetted professionals dedicated to maintaining your data anonymity.
- The Sovereignty Team have been building healthcare data applications and protecting people's private health data for many years in a wide range of healthcare settings around the world.
- We follow international security best practices, including all best practices from https://owasp.org/
- The core element of our underlying infrastructure is Aidbox, a powerful backend development platform specifically for modern healthcare applications, using FHIR as the foundation. Aidbox provides lots of useful security features - you can find more information here
- Audit logs and access controls are a core element of security at The Sovereignty Network.
- For all external connections, we use HTTPS with TLS encryption.
SNOMED International and the Sovereignty Network are pleased to share news of an alliance to address child and maternity health in Africa through Sovereignty's “Ejo Health” SNOMED CT encoded application.
Who are we? We're a global team of industry experts and specialists, dedicated to building an economy run by patients and the value of their data.
We work with some of the world's most respected healthcare data experts and organizations. In partnership with the world's best clinical terminology, SNOMED CT, and using international data standards like FHIR that make it easier to share medical data, we have already used a version of our product in Africa during the pandemic. This effort allowed healthcare workers to collect medical records and screen their patients right on the ground.
Our product was described as “the biggest healthcare technology breakthrough in Rwanda in a decade.”
SNOMED International and The Sovereignty Network are pleased to share news of an alliance that has started to address child and maternity health in Africa through Sovereignty’s “Ejo Health” SNOMED CT encoded application.
Whereas SNOMED CT is like the letter inside an envelope, written in the language of health, FHIR for healthcare is like the address on an envelope showing where the health data needs to go. The Sovereignty Network has brought these two premium health data standards together, working in harmony to power our data sets. We also have the distinct honour of having Grahame Grieve, the inventor and “Father of FHIR” as an advisory board member of The Sovereignty Network.
We recently presented "Delivering Health Outcomes in Africa From the Grass Roots" at the HIMSS 2022 conference in Orlando Florida with our alliance partners, SNOMED International. Hamish MacDonald from The Sovereignty Network and Nick Egarhos of Snomed described the challenges of delivering healthcare to communities in Rwanda and Africa, and outlined the process by which SNOMED International and the Sovereignty Network identified and adressed the needs of Health Workers on the ground.
Why do we need your support in a crowdfunding campaign? We don’t want to take venture capital money.
Join us in a global movement; a healthcare data economy built for patients, and those that serve them.
The foundation of our product is well-formed, and we are poised to bring this development to the world
Why do we need your support in a crowdfunding campaign? We don’t want to take venture capital money. As the network grows, our goal is to transition to being member-owned and governed.
A decentralized global network is the aim. At that point, members should own The Sovereignty Network proportionate to the value each member has contributed.
We think this is the right thing to do, and it’s easier to do if the company stays held by founders dedicated to making this happen.
Our commitment to each of our early supporters is to help you build and own a valuable healthcare record, wherever you are. The majority of funds raised will go back to each person who pledges, in the form of personalised service from professional and vetted Data Coaches to advise and help you to build a valuable data set in a completely secure and safe environment that belongs only to you.
Remaining funds help continued product, platform and people development to offer more capability to more customers, in less time.
So, it’s time to stop being exploited as a “Data Slave.”
Instead, you and your family can turn the tables and become data owners. Enjoy peace of mind, better health and earn what your data is worth. Stop feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. Now you can take control of your healthcare data and enjoy the rewards.
